Ennerdale - Broadcasting across the world

The Gather is at the heart of the Western Lake District in the small village of Ennerdale Bridge. (CA23 3AR) it is a Community owned and run facility known for its cafe and the multitude of events that take place in the community room. 

 

 In 2020 Arts Council England designated the community room as a “Small Music Venue” and funded a programme of gigs. The venue is branded, “Upstairs@TheGather” and since then it has gone from strength to strength and routinely streams its gigs on a private YouTube channel. One Local BBC presenter asked, “How has this small community gained a worldwide reputation for its music shows? ( you can see some of these shows below)
